Public Equities
Making over 70% of our investment portfolio, our focus is publicly traded companies with tangible technological ideas. Ideally, we seek for growth and value from companies in the electric motor industry, fintech industry, social connectivity, consumer money saving applications, cyber security, decentralized currency/crypto exchange, and augmented reality.
In the equity strategy, CRKR seeks to maintain an overall mid-large capitalization bias, while remaining disciplined during periods of under-performance.
Alternative Asset Class
CRKR Investment has invested in real properties in Canada. The idea is to take advantage of the ever-soaring Canadian real estate market, while benefiting from solid rental income flow that the properties provide.
CRKR also takes advantage of short-term volatility of the equity markets by trading in equity options using various put-call strategies as circumstances warrant.
CRKR Investment holdings in crypto currencies will be limited to holdings in crypto exchange-traded funds. Currently, CRKR is invested in units of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (OTCQX: GBTC) and the Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust (OTCQX: ETCG).
Fixed Income
Our fixed income asset class seeks to provide safety of principal, periodic income flow, liquidity, and most importantly, help control the overall portfolio risk.
Our fixed income flow comes from selected competent high yield corporate bonds, stable dividend yielding stocks, and rental income from owned real properties in Canada.
